CommentsAs the cost of services has gone up, the number of people coming off the waiting list slows down. We are now projecting a wait of 16 years. The Arc organizes a "no more waiting" campaign every year during the legislative session. At The Arc NM annual meeting May 17, 2008, the delegates will be discussing a position on "Re-Design of the Service System". Our goal is to provide the leadership to encourage systemic changes in our system to better use resources, thereby serving more people. We will post this position on our web site after it is adopted.
